What We Believe...
About God God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis 1:1, 26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1;2; 2 Corinthians 13:4; About Humanity Human beings were made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Humans are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although people have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates human beings from God. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Jeremiah 17:9; Isaiah 59:1-2; Rom. 3:10-23 About Eternity Human beings were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence. John 3:16; 5:24-30; 17:3; Romans 6:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Jude 7; Revelation 20:15; 21ff About Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins for all humanity by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-18; 14:6-20; Hebrews 1:2; 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:13-16; Titus 2:11-14 About Salvation Salvation is a gift from God to humanity. Human beings can never make up for their sin by self-improvement or good. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can people be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith. Romans 5:1; 6:23; 10:9-15; Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1:12; 3:16-17; 14:6; 17:3; Acts 4:10-12; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 About Eternal Security Because God give his followers eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security. John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5 About the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Holy Spirit also distributes spiritual gifts as He desires as a means of building up the entire church. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:16,17; 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 5:3,4; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; 12-14; Ephesians 1:13, 14; 5:1, 8; Galatians 5:25 About the Bible The Bible is God’s Word to all humanity. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error. 2 Timothy 1:13; 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21; 3:15, 16; John 5:39; Exodus 24:4; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 12:6; 119:11, 105, 160; Proverbs 30:5 ![]()

LOVE & HUGS Admin Bonnie ![]() LET US ALL COME TOGETHER AND GROW IN THE LORD! 1 Corinthians 9:19 - 23 (NIV) Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. ( 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
